Beauty During Pregnancy

Having undergone three pregnancies in the past (and actually delivered three wonderful kids, at that . . .), I could say that it were really such tough times. The mixed feelings I had during those pregnancies contributed more to the anxieties I had with the changes in my body. I was also very lazy during those times, and doing my beauty rituals were such an effort for me before. With that, I had somehow neglected my personal obligation of looking pleasant (if not good) at all times.

If only I could turn back time, I would have definitely considered applying on Beaute de Maman beauty products, which is purely natural and safe. It has become widely used by Hollywood celebrities, who were on their way to motherhood, like Penelope Ann Miller, Tim Allen's wife Hajduk, Charlie Sheen's wife Brooke Sheen and many more.

Beaute de Maman's top of line products include facial scrubs, nipple gels, face and body creams, and stretch mark creams. Aside from the amazing wonders they offer to their users, these products are very affordable so soon-to-be moms wouldn't be worried at all with their budgets.

Well, I have five office mates who are expecting right now. I think this would be a very wonderful gift I could give them then. I could help them achieve a celebrity look despite their altered figures. Hmm . . . the thought already excited me so I must order now!

Jennie Garth

Oh my God! I only knew very recently that Twilight's hot, hot doctor Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen) is actually married to Jennie Garth, one of my high school favorites via the hit series Beverly Hills 90210, way way back. If I haven't seen this photo below, I wouldn't have known. Anyway, I think they make a very cute family indeed!

Jennie has not been very active in the movies that much but I really liked her at BH 90210. Her character in the said series was not way too goody, and yet not too bitchy either. I also find her very fashionable too. I have seen lots of pictures of her before, and she is really gorgeous - - in my own opinion.

The last time I seen her on TV was when she joined the 5th season of Dancing With the Stars, another favorite show of mine (since I love dancing so much)! Her beauty has never faded despite the age, but well, most celebrities can do that without effort.

Aside from dancing, she made appearances on various shows, like 'Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grade?', 'What I liked About You', and Wrestlemania. She also appeared as a reprised role on the new 90210 series, this time as a guidance counselor. She also got into a number of movies and even participated on celebrity tournaments on casinos.

What a girl!

Drawstring Shorts

I love wearing shorts. It makes me feel carefree and light. It's one outfit that I am very confident to wear, aside from being comfy.

There are lots of styles for shorts, but I really go for the 'short' ones, especially the drawstring shorts like the ones below:

Aren't they cute? They could be worn for a beach event, or even for a casual walk. I would flaunt them during dance exercise perhaps, or when shopping in the mall. But hey, these shorts are way too costly for my standards, unfortunately. Tsk..tsk..tsk!

If only I could find a much cheaper version of them, lol!

Online Socialization

I admit.

My looks is not really very impressive. Every time I look at myself in the mirror, dismay is written all over me. But I never let my disappointment drown me. I tend to concentrate on things I am great at, and with that, I am elegantly confident. I am just thankful though that those important persons are all around me, with their never-ending support and encouragement that I am appealing inside and out.

Well, I am not ashamed of how I look. I could still be sociable even if people don't personally see me. Socializing online has been an effective tool for me in enhancing my personality. It's like enrolling myself on a school of social skills, virtually, that is. I have become active in various social networking sites and have gained lots of friends with my accounts. I meet different individuals through blog hopping, which has somehow helped me appreciate myself more because each person is unique. (By the way, thanks to such people.) I even played on online casinos, which has taught me the conflicting values of patience and guts, and I should say that I enjoyed it a lot.

Thanks to technological innovations, I am no longer worried about my social life because I could definitely meet people either online or offline.

New Bags For Me

How I wish, haha!

Since I have lost my bag some few weeks ago (and the helper has not found it yet until now), I am thinking of buying a new bag. I am so fascinated with bags that every time I go (window)shopping, I am always drawn to bag boutiques and stores.

Now I have all my eyes for these three wonderful bags and I hope I could buy at least one of them before the first quarter of the year ends. By the way, these bags are from Guess, Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger, respectively.

For the moment, my fancies are caught off guard by bags with logos all over, hence the choices on guess and Tommy. Well, the Ralph Lauren is different, but I love its clear body, giving a new and tidy look altogether. If I could have this, I better stock this bag with impressive contents, lol!

Sigh . . . still wishing on a star...

Dress Up With Chiffon Fabric!

Every now and then, great fashion designs have been flaunted all over the net for everyone to see. I, for one, drools over the great styles. Of course, these top of the line dresses are created by top designers and therefore much pricey than we could ever think.

We could wipe off the drool . . . and get the style that we want - - of course, with our respective favorite materials. I would like to have a couple of new chiffon fabric dresses, because such fabric is so rich and luxurious to the touch, while being a fabric for all occasions.

Here are some great dresses made of chiffon . . .

They are just lovely and I am hoping I would look good on them despite the body weight, lol!

Fashion All Over Oscars!

It's the Academy Awards Night once again, so that means celebrities will have another round of fashion display for all their fans to drool. Well, this year's Oscars is no exception and big stars have made their respective appearances with the gorgeous and stylish outfits every audience have expected.

I am not much of a fan of Angelina Jolie (because I love Jen Aniston to the max!) but as usual, she is a sight to behold. Her elegance and style never fades, well, it all goes with her perfect body and fiery beauty.

Disney stars Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Hudgens

Kate Winslet and Best Supporting Actress Penelope Cruz

Marisa Tomei and Sarah Jessica Parker

And my fave hunk at the moment Robert Pattinson

Anime Has Fashion Sense

Anime characters have got some great fashion sense too, that is what I noticed on some of their pictures that I happened to take a glimpse of every now and then. Well, their outfits really would be something their creators have already thought of beforehand, because what they put on reflect the personalities that they have. Anime characters have gone popular nowadays and have become sort of celebrities in print. Their clothing preferences have already been followed by their fans.

Here are some pics that I found over the net and I admire these characters for projecting a fashionable and stylish appeal.

I am not much of a fan of anime but my kids love them. And every time I see my kids watch them, I can't help but feel awed by their sense of style. Great tastes by such great characters! Guess I have to know them better then and be able to relate to my kids favorites, haha! And to do that, I have to get acquainted with people who adore anime and get helpful insights and superb reviews from them. I know a place where to find such people, and I have to visit the anime chat room to meet them - - for free!

I'll be expecting to know more fashionable anime characters then.

Bride Wars

I was watching Bride Wars at the theater few hours ago, and so far it was a nice chick flick. It was a story that revolves around friendship and my oh my, they also got a bunch of wonderful and chic wardrobes for their two lead stars - - Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.

Well, for one, I liked their wedding dresses. Both are definitely apart in style, but they are such classics!

I find Anne very skinny though, and I like her more if she is a bit more 'pound'-ful. But she is really pretty and the movie has never failed to show that. Kate, on the other hand, has always been a favorite of mine, that is why before the theaters change programs tomorrow, I went to watch it today. Kate is really stunning in almost all scenes, especially with her office dresses.

They even look good on their fitness clothes! Now I'm wishing I could look like them too.

Color Your Prom

Aside from the Valentines Day, February also marks the most exciting event of a teenage life - - prom. With prom, you get to shop for a dress that you would wear for that one special occasion. Unfortunate for me though, because way back my time in high school, we used to wear a uniform prom dress to avoid unequality.

Well, that did not stop me to look around and see what dresses are great for prom. And this time, I am so awed with dresses that display vividly different and contrasting colors and how they blend well overall. Allow me to share what I found:

Colorful is beautiful, isn't it?

You Can Stop The Aging.

We all know for a fact that we age. Mortal as we are, we could not avoid to grow old as time fly. But luckily, with the help of modern technologies and innovations, we could be able to do something about our aging appearances. One way to do it is through dermal filler.

Of course, having a cheerful disposition at all times lessens the risk of aging rapidly. But since life is not all the time pleasant, then it would be impossible to have the required disposition. We could use restylane injection as an alternative then, and achieve the utmost facial rejuvenation we so much dreamed of. The procedure only takes a minimal period of time and could be learned through watching this video:

New York Times Has Zenni Optical!

Zenni Optical in the New York Times?!

Well, I wouldn't be shocked about this because Zenni Optical has already made an established name in eyecare provision, what with their quality prescription eyeglasses for only $8! Take a look at their large selection of eyeglasses, which are really fashionable and stylish, and kiss your eye vision problems away! The red glasses above would be a wonderful accessory for Valentines Day.

Orange Style Shirt Dress

If only I am just skinny, I would definitely wear this shirt dress from Orange Style. I really loved the girl's look. Definitely, it's another perfect get-up for a valentine date!

I guess the dress would also look good on ladies with large frames. Combined with the right accessories and hairdo, who wouldn't take notice!

Here's another color!

What is also nice about this dress is that I can wear them as a corporate attire, with the tights and high heels, or just for casual walks, with flip-flops! Sigh . . . I really want one.

Go Crazy This Valentines!

Wondering what to wear for your date this Valentines? Well, if you feel like making a jolly atmosphere then why not go a bit crazy and funny! If formal or serious attires don't seem to attract you during this most anticipated event, you can be as casual as wearing crazy dog tshirts then.

Shady-photo

Inject some humor in your most romantic day with some funny shirts. And the perfect place to shop for these kinds of shirts is Crazy Dog. They have lots of funny tees that would suit accordingly to your tastes - - vintage, 80s, or movies! The shirts are very affordable too, so you still have some money left for the date, haha!

I really had fun browsing through their funny shirts. These are my personal picks:

I hope my husband won't mind if I wear the first two shirts I picked on our Valentines date, well if we go out, that is. I just find them amusing, and not to be taken personally. I also like the third shirt because it reminded me so much of the craze back in time. I just wonder how people will think of me if I ever wear that? lol!

Go ahead and get your pick too. Get yourself a big grin.
