MTV Video Music Awards

The fashion high was so evident on the recently concluded Video Music Awards brought to us by MTV. Millions of fans have been anticipating for this event because, aside from their curiosity as to who will bag the awards, there would definitely be a wide display of fashion and style from the invited music artists.

Of course, our efforts of watching the event were not futile since a lot of stars have emerged with style and grace. But before we take a glimpse again on what they wore during the awards night, let me first congratulate the winners, as enumerated below:

We all know that she is quite daring as far as fashion is concerned but many were surprised when she came to the awards night covered with a Alexander McQueen gown. But nonetheless, she still looked great. This victorious petite lady is already a certified fashion icon in her own right and here's why . . .

Jennifer Aniston is one of my favorite actresses of all times. I really liked her on Friends, and since then i have followed her movies. Anyway, I found this wonderful wallpaper featuring her and I think this would be great for my PC.

Jennie Garth

Oh my God! I only knew very recently that Twilight's hot, hot doctor Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen) is actually married to Jennie Garth, one of my high school favorites via the hit series Beverly Hills 90210, way way back. If I haven't seen this photo below, I wouldn't have known. Anyway, I think they make a very cute family indeed!

Jennie has not been very active in the movies that much but I really liked her at BH 90210. Her character in the said series was not way too goody, and yet not too bitchy either. I also find her very fashionable too. I have seen lots of pictures of her before, and she is really gorgeous - - in my own opinion.


The last time I seen her on TV was when she joined the 5th season of Dancing With the Stars, another favorite show of mine (since I love dancing so much)! Her beauty has never faded despite the age, but well, most celebrities can do that without effort.

Aside from dancing, she made appearances on various shows, like 'Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grade?', 'What I liked About You', and Wrestlemania. She also appeared as a reprised role on the new 90210 series, this time as a guidance counselor. She also got into a number of movies and even participated on celebrity tournaments on casinos.

Fashion All Over Oscars!

It's the Academy Awards Night once again, so that means celebrities will have another round of fashion display for all their fans to drool. Well, this year's Oscars is no exception and big stars have made their respective appearances with the gorgeous and stylish outfits every audience have expected.

I am not much of a fan of Angelina Jolie (because I love Jen Aniston to the max!) but as usual, she is a sight to behold. Her elegance and style never fades, well, it all goes with her perfect body and fiery beauty.

Bride Wars

I was watching Bride Wars at the theater few hours ago, and so far it was a nice chick flick. It was a story that revolves around friendship and my oh my, they also got a bunch of wonderful and chic wardrobes for their two lead stars - - Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.

Well, for one, I liked their wedding dresses. Both are definitely apart in style, but they are such classics!


I find Anne very skinny though, and I like her more if she is a bit more 'pound'-ful. But she is really pretty and the movie has never failed to show that. Kate, on the other hand, has always been a favorite of mine, that is why before the theaters change programs tomorrow, I went to watch it today. Kate is really stunning in almost all scenes, especially with her office dresses.



They even look good on their fitness clothes! Now I'm wishing I could look like them too.

Getting To Know Amy Poehler

I was doing some blog hopping when I saw a post featuring Amy Poehler. Well, I have seen her in a couple of episodes of Saturday Night Live, and I really admired her talent especially in comedy. She has either appeared or lended her voice on various great and funny films like Scary Movie 2, Shrek the Third, and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.

Being a mom myself, I admire her the more for her desire to feature smart girls who, in their own little way, want to make a change in the world. She is now producing a digital series called Smart Girls at the Party, which focuses on interviews with girls and young women about their lives and their respective contributions for the world though their talents. What I liked about this series is that it has Barbie as their lead sponsor, which my daughter is so crazy about! And the videos are just easy to view since the tv is user-friendly and anyone could explore them without a problem. The tv widget can even be placed in any profile of social networking sites, like Myspace or Facebook.

Goin' Mango

I always admired Penelope's beauty. It's really alluring and dramatic. Well, there are a lot of great beauties at Hollywood, but hers is somewhat distinctive, in the sense that she came from a European country, from Spain at that. Not that I locked my praises for her alone, there are also a number of celebrities who are uncommonly beautiful and stunning.

As I was browsing through Mango's website, I found her and it's good to see her really. I used to see her as skinny way back, but now, she has gained a little and it looked good on her all the more. Here are some of her pics:

I used to dislike Angel Locsin back when she was still under the GMA network, but since she transferred to the Kapamilya channel, I started to like and admire her. She is considered the sexiest Filipina of today, and that could not be argued since evidences are all over the billboards, tabloids and other media.

Well, fashion-wise, she is also a sight to behold. And Folded and Hung was quick enough to tap her as their endorser. With the perfect figure that she has, what outfit wouldn't go well with her?
