I feel so guilty for not updating this blog for over a month. Amidst the busy schedule that I have with my offline work right now, it is really impossible for me to scout for new fashion styles and trends for feature here in this humble online abode of mine.

The New year has finally come and it definitely is quite a surprise to know that the first month is almost coming to an end. February is now on its way, and I should say that this month is another 'most looked-forward to' month, aside from December. Because of Valentines Day, February will be another busy month for people to organize surprises and other things for their loved ones.

Anyway, I shall be posting often soon, that will be a promise (to myself). There are tons of new styles in the fashion world that are potentially big hits for this year. I can't wait to raid on the internet's wide array of closets and share it here those fabulous finds. So please visit my blog from time to time, I might have the chic styles that suit your tastes.

And for this blog's stats, I shall work on it soon too. Because of some convincing from friends as well as a nice hostmonster review that I have read online, I am now contemplating of having its own domain and host. This will be a big leap for this blog, if ever. I am badly needing more advice.

The Christmas season is not an exception to catch your partner's fancy, so therefore we should not let ourselves get in the rear as far as being sexy is concerned. So for this approaching merry season, why not try to put on a sexy Christmas lingerie then?

I have to admit I haven't been keen on that aspect yet, but with this idea in mind, I browsed through the net for some attention-grabbing lingerie. I found this sexy babydoll and thong set with a Christmas flavor into it. I just doubt if I could very well look like the model though.

Talking about personal grooming, it is a definite must to include good fragrances in the list. We cannot take away colognes and perfumes from any fashion talk and we should understand by now that they are tangled in a sense.

Anyway, I found these discount demeter scents which are cute and unique. Since they are very affordable, they are certainly a cent's worth given their high quality. I might as well give them a try. The movie 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' is a favorite movie of mine. Aside from its lead actress Isla Fisher, who I adored big time, I also liked the story which is insightful in a way but light and romantic. The story revolves around a very stylish lady who loves shopping so much even beyond her limits and when the time has come to pay for her bills and debts, she has no means to do so.

Shopping is very therapeutic. It is a feel-good endeavor to do which most of you would certainly agree. The moment you set your eyes on an item which has been on your wish list for so long - on sale, what would you instinctively do? Shopping can be an addiction for people who can't control their impulses. That is just alright as long as that person spend within his or her means, otherwise he or she will already need debt advice.

It must be frustrating to think that shopping is for the wealthy people only but I think not. There are a lot of affordable items on sale and it is really up to the shopper to set the price range. It is important to know your spending limits so that financial debt will not occur. But if you just rely on your impulses, then you badly need some debt help.

And when you are already flocked with debt, can you really say that you are still fashionable? I guess not, just look at the lady with the green scarf.

I usually don't wear blazers and coats because I easily get warm due to my overweight build. I only get to use wear them during seminars with very cold venues, and travels. My thought these outer wear is that they are only worn during office or any corporate gathering, but I am proven wrong as they are nowadays worn as a fashion statement.

Outer wears are great when paired with shorts or mini skirts. It somehow creates a stylish contrast within the wearer, the blazers being formal and the shorts or skirts being casual. I find projecting dual personalities through fashion quite interesting, since it eliminates a monotonous mood.

Red Dress

Wow, October is up and that means my birth month is finally here! I am pretty excited to have my 33rd year of existence, not because I wanted to grow old already, but because I liked the number 33.

Anyway, my birthday is just 8 days away from now and if things would go quite nicely and as planned, I would love to celebrate it with family and friends. I think this will also be a great time to do a housewarming since we just moved in to our new home three months ago.

I had in mind to put a sort of color theme for my birthday and that color is red. I am thrilled to see my guests wearing anything red on that special day of mine. And of course, I will be wearing the same color too, so I am now in search of a nice (plus size) dress that would surely look good on me.

I have come to love sunglasses, to which I put all my blame to my husband. He always use sunglasses every time he is out. I tried one of his glasses and since then, I use one when I am out in the sun.

Sunglasses have become a popular fashion accessory nowadays, especially during summer. A lot of designs have already come out, varying in sizes, colors and materials. My husband wanted me to have an aviator sunglasses, given that I have a round face, but I am getting this fancy for a Ray Ban Wayfarer Sunglasses ever since I watched the movie Twilight.

This wayfarer shades is fashionably stylish - - in its tortoise hue. If I am to wear them, I may not look as hot as Edward or Bella does, but I know I could make my own statement with it. It definitely will look good with anything, so there won't be any problem on mix and match. Ray Ban has already made a name as far as sunglasses are concerned and for that, I have the full trust to the brand.

I was looking at my husband with amusement last night while he arranged the cloths sent to them by their Head Office for their uniforms. The designs were attached to them with the corresponding accessories needed for the completion of the uniforms. He is pretty excited to have a new uniform and can't wait to deliver them to the dress shop so he could already wear them. I noticed that their Wednesday uniform requires a tie, to which my husband is not fond of.

I have always wanted him to wear a tie. I don't know but it is just that I tend to associate ties with smart individuals. I remembered one time a colleague recounted to me that an office mate of ours goes for men in ties because she finds them serious, brilliant and neat. Oh well, I don't blame her really.

I hope my husband would wear one this time around. Maybe I could give him a kelvin tie for instance to let him know how anxious I am to see him with a tie.

Do you love dancing? Well, I do!

After deciding for the nth time to trim down my weight, I finally went back to dance exercise. It is so much fun to do this kind of sweating out because aside from the great music blazing from the sound speakers, I get amused to see myself dancing in front of the mirror wall, which is all over the studio.

It is best to do the exercise you love most. Some people maintained their great bodies through engaging on sports that they love. I have been dancing since my pre-school days and until now, three decades after, I still am. I guess this fascination can no longer be taken away from me.

I really loved watching dancers do their routines with wonderful dance attires. And I would love to have one too, so I could use it on dance exercise sessions.

Christmas Gift Ideas

Christmas is three months away. Yeah, three months is still a long way to go but because of our busy schedules, we never know how time flies so fast. In just a flash, we may be surprised that loved-ones are already knocking on our doors for their Christmas presents.

Last night, my sis in law asked me if we have already decorated our home with Christmas decors. Well, we haven't yet because it is still far and that the kids might just ruin the decorations in the process, knowing how hyperactive they are. Her question just made me realize that I better prepare for the coming holidays now, before it's already too late. And so, if given a break, I would make my lists of things relative to Christmas to put attention into, and that includes Christmas presents.

Anyway, I will just note down here what I have to get as presents for the most important event of the year that will eventually happen three months from now. Just in case my memory fails me, at least I have already jotted them down:

For the kids: TOYS

My three kids love toys so much, to which I am quite reluctant to give since they tend to be destructive sometimes. Anyway, I will still give them their favorite toys this Holidays, because it is such a delight to see their faces lit up every time they open their Christmas presents. The smile on their faces are all worth it.

For my parents: GIFT CHEQUES

I always find it hard to look for the perfect presents for my parents. It seems that they already have everything. But anyway, I am sure they will be very grateful for the act alone of giving them the presents. Since I have no idea what exactly what they want, the gift cheques would answer that.

For friends: CUSTOM CARDS

Since friends are quite handful (thank God for them), I know they will simply understand if I give them photo christmas cards. It's the thought that counts anyway; the GIFT is in the giving. If ever I receive one also, I would be likewise glad. This could also be the perfect gift for online friends too.

For husband: PERFUME

Husband has always expressed how much he wanted to have a new perfume since his perfume right now almost run out. With lots of perfumes circulating in the market today, I have a hard time finding the perfect scent for him. I am considering these perfumes above but I still could not figure out yet which one to get. Could you help me out?

The cold weather is slowly rubbing our elbows, well, for me at least. September is now in full swing and what more do we expect for BER months? It means we are nearing Halloween and Christmas!

The two events are without a doubt very much looked forward to, and as early as now, it would be best that we brace ourselves and prepare for the activities these two events bring.

Well, Christmas is three months away, but Halloween is already next month! A month-long preparation may be lengthy for some, but fleeting for others. When I was still young, I really didn't have the flair for skirts. Every time I wear one, I find my every action so guarded, and thus it was making me feel uncomfortable.

Anyway, that was the past, when all I wanted was to do carefree things. Now that I am getting matured, I find skirts very girly and refined. I have seen a lot of women wearing skirts and I kind of liked looking at them really. Well, it all depends upon how they carry themselves.

Having this new interest on skirts prompted me to look over the world wide web and eventually, I landed on Forever 21's website. From there, I found some modish and classy skirts I am sure you would also start to love . . .

Disney Fashion For Adults

Disney has been well loved by many, being an icon in the entertainment industry for so long. Because of their numerous brilliant animated movies, many kids have already fixed their eyes on any Disney film like sticky glues. Being a mom of three kids who are Disney fans at that, I guess I am already inflicted with the craze as well. Of course, that would be inevitable since there isn't a day in our house when the television isn't tuned in on the Disney channel.

Well, the Art Of Disney doesn't just end on the silver screen or in the boobtube. They have already spread their wings and eventually covered the whole world with that ~ even the fashion world. Many kids around the globe (including mine) won't get left behind of such fashion trend and accordingly made all Disney characters visible among any vicinity. All my kids either have shirts, pants, jackets or even bags bearing their favorite Disney characters.

Though not surprised, I am now in amazement that even adults could have their own share of the Disney craze. And the following are proof enough:

Well, that's a situation I am into right now. I have stumbled upon another batch of cute sandals from Unionbay and my, they are really so adorable. I was having the kicks while browsing at them. If only I have the means of purchasing them, I surely have did it right away!

A huge number of ladies are very particular about footwear, and I for one is guilty. Every time I go browsing for items whether online or in the mall, I always find time to drop by any shoe shop and look for some awesome designs.

Well, talking about shoes, it has been quite a time that gladiator sandals or shoes made its way to the fashion ladder of popularity. Personally, I find them really elegant, wearing them brings me back to the time of royalty and panache. Legging Jeans

Are you quite picky when it comes to pants? Well, I am guilty on that! Aside from the difficulty that I have looking for the perfect fit on pants, I am also keen on the style. Since I am an extra large by nature, I usually find it hard to get the right size and the right style that makes me look good.

Anyway, one thing's for sure when I am buying a pair of jeans - - they must be fit on my legs. Hence, the first thing that comes to mind when I buy one is skinny (well, if there's any other cute style available, why not?). All my jeans at the moment are skinny and I still love them at this minute despite their age, lol!

I saw quite a number of women wearing denim leggings and I find it nice too. They usually call it legging jeans or jeggings.

The good thing with these jeggings is that it can be paired with any shoe style too. Well on the pictures above, they are paired with high-heeled shoes, but they will definitely look good too with ballet flats or doll shoes.

Hey, I love talking about fashion and style so I will not be leaving this blog for good. I may be away for a while to attend to some personal matters but I would always go back to blogging about my personal fascinations and ideas. Expressing my insights in writing is one thing that I love doing the most. Well, since I have been in hiatus for a semester, I have to update this blog so as to catch up with the stats. This will require some hard work and good seo then and I am hoping the best of luck would be on my side.

A lot of fashionable things worth blogging for have already been out in the market. Unfortunately, I was not able to write about them due to personal events that took me away from the blogosphere. Umbrellas In Fashion

June is starting to make its waves rolling by bringing on the rainy season. Summer is finally over and now we will be facing the wet atmosphere. Rainy days are expected from now on, and with the unpredictable weather that we have nowadays, it should be a must to prepare ourselves all the time. Rain or shine, we should have with us the basic things that protects us from getting rainy wet or even from the harmful rays of the sun (when the sun is up, for that matter).

We love to celebrate the special occasions in our lives, and when we say celebration, that calls for another set of wardrobes to wear ~ ~ if the budget permits, that is.

One occasion coming right up is my brother's wedding, which is just a week and a day away and I am extremely excited about it. What is nice about weddings is that they fill the atmosphere with intimate sprinkles of romance. It is such a delight to witness two persons in love exchanging vows of love and faithfulness for each other. Moreover, the celebration calls for a reception that is filled with wonderful ambiance, beautiful flowers, and of course beautiful dresses! It would be very nice to see everyone in formal attire ~ ~ including my three kids who are all part of the entourage, and of course the wedding dresses the bride and her maids would be wearing. I haven't seen the bridal dress yet but i think it is more of something like this:

It's really beautiful and elegant, isn't it? The dress above is from Mori Lee and I just love it very much. It may seem a very simple dress but the design from the waist down is intricate and lovely. One would feel like a duchess when wearing one.

Another occasion I am sure lots of girls are looking forward to is prom. The internet has loads of prom dresses to browse through, like the www.4prom.com. It may still be like three months away but hey, being prepared won't hurt at all. Girls can ask for prom dresses as Christmas gifts from their parents and godparents, so as early as now they can do the browsing already.

Looking at these dresses brings me back in time when I was still in high school. These prom dresses 2010 epitome the freshness of youth, yet they establish that the wearers are no longer little girls anymore. The sculptured bodice emphasizes the ripe figure of a girl while its ball gown skirt maintains her innocence and frailty. Girls would definitely look cute with these dresses while giggling their hearts out over their crushes and prom dates.

I confess that I am a Facebook addict. Aside from getting in touch with old friends, distant relatives and online pals, I also get to shop and play very enjoyable games. So far I have four FB friends which are online stores in substance and I have purchased a number of items from them already.

I have always been very vocal about my fascination for shoes and mentioned it here time and time again. I still could not explain my greatest love for shoes and bags, but whatever is behind it, I am definitely going to see more of these items in the future . . . whether online or offline.

We need different kinds of shoes for different get-ups. A formal wear requires high heels perhaps, while a sports event calls a need for us to wear rubber shoes. It may not be imperative to have many pairs of shoes in our racks, but it would be the coolest thing ever if we have different shoes for different occasions.

One thing I am looking for right now is a pair that is of green hue. My brother's wedding is coming up in about two months and since their color theme is green, I am eyeing for green shoes. I was looking around in stores here in our place and my search seemed futile since I haven't found the right one yet. My definition of the right one is that it must be my perfect choice of style, perfect fit and perfect shade.

The rise of Asian fashion has been largely obvious nowadays. It may be attributable to the rising fame of Asian artists and celebrities and their followers are also avidly checking on their every style of clothing.

Red Chair Confessions

I saw this video from Red Chair Confessions and was amused by this beautiful and chic lady who confessed to a priest about something she deemed wrong. I waited for the whole video to finish and until the end I haven't heard the lady spill out her sinful act.

Anyway, here is the video to see for yourself what it is all about and help me figure out the end of this story.

The video has some naughty approach to it, but I'm impressed it certainly is catchy and could easily capture anyone's attention. My first thought was that the woman wants to confess about a sexual escapade with somebody, noting how excited her tale sounded and how the priest listened to her every word. But I laid back that thought and realized the confession may not be sexual at all and is something that deals with her addiction to things, to fashion particularly.

Looking at the woman, I saw Rebecca Bloomwood on her. She is a shopaholic and is having her hardest times overcoming the urge and addiction to shop.

Having undergone three pregnancies in the past (and actually delivered three wonderful kids, at that . . .), I could say that it were really such tough times. The mixed feelings I had during those pregnancies contributed more to the anxieties I had with the changes in my body. I was also very lazy during those times, and doing my beauty rituals were such an effort for me before. With that, I had somehow neglected my personal obligation of looking pleasant (if not good) at all times.

Oh my God! I only knew very recently that Twilight's hot, hot doctor Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen) is actually married to Jennie Garth, one of my high school favorites via the hit series Beverly Hills 90210, way way back. If I haven't seen this photo below, I wouldn't have known. Anyway, I think they make a very cute family indeed!

Jennie has not been very active in the movies that much but I really liked her at BH 90210. Her character in the said series was not way too goody, and yet not too bitchy either. I also find her very fashionable too. I have seen lots of pictures of her before, and she is really gorgeous - - in my own opinion.

The last time I seen her on TV was when she joined the 5th season of Dancing With the Stars, another favorite show of mine (since I love dancing so much)! Her beauty has never faded despite the age, but well, most celebrities can do that without effort.

Aside from dancing, she made appearances on various shows, like 'Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grade?', 'What I liked About You', and Wrestlemania. She also appeared as a reprised role on the new 90210 series, this time as a guidance counselor. She also got into a number of movies and even participated on celebrity tournaments on casinos.

I love wearing shorts. It makes me feel carefree and light. It's one outfit that I am very confident to wear, aside from being comfy.

There are lots of styles for shorts, but I really go for the 'short' ones, especially the drawstring shorts like the ones below:

I admit.

My looks is not really very impressive. Every time I look at myself in the mirror, dismay is written all over me. But I never let my disappointment drown me. I tend to concentrate on things I am great at, and with that, I am elegantly confident. I am just thankful though that those important persons are all around me, with their never-ending support and encouragement that I am appealing inside and out.

Well, I am not ashamed of how I look. I could still be sociable even if people don't personally see me. Socializing online has been an effective tool for me in enhancing my personality. It's like enrolling myself on a school of social skills, virtually, that is. I have become active in various social networking sites and have gained lots of friends with my accounts. I meet different individuals through blog hopping, which has somehow helped me appreciate myself more because each person is unique. (By the way, thanks to such people.) I even played on online casinos, which has taught me the conflicting values of patience and guts, and I should say that I enjoyed it a lot.

Thanks to technological innovations, I am no longer worried about my social life because I could definitely meet people either online or offline.

Since I have lost my bag some few weeks ago (and the helper has not found it yet until now), I am thinking of buying a new bag. I am so fascinated with bags that every time I go (window)shopping, I am always drawn to bag boutiques and stores.

Now I have all my eyes for these three wonderful bags and I hope I could buy at least one of them before the first quarter of the year ends. By the way, these bags are from Guess, Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger, respectively.

For the moment, my fancies are caught off guard by bags with logos all over, hence the choices on guess and Tommy. Well, the Ralph Lauren is different, but I love its clear body, giving a new and tidy look altogether. If I could have this, I better stock this bag with impressive contents, lol!

Anime characters have got some great fashion sense too, that is what I noticed on some of their pictures that I happened to take a glimpse of every now and then. Well, their outfits really would be something their creators have already thought of beforehand, because what they put on reflect the personalities that they have. Anime characters have gone popular nowadays and have become sort of celebrities in print. Their clothing preferences have already been followed by their fans.

I am not much of a fan of anime but my kids love them. And every time I see my kids watch them, I can't help but feel awed by their sense of style. Great tastes by such great characters! I was watching Bride Wars at the theater few hours ago, and so far it was a nice chick flick. It was a story that revolves around friendship and my oh my, they also got a bunch of wonderful and chic wardrobes for their two lead stars - - Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.

Well, for one, I liked their wedding dresses. Both are definitely apart in style, but they are such classics!

I find Anne very skinny though, and I like her more if she is a bit more 'pound'-ful. But she is really pretty and the movie has never failed to show that. Kate, on the other hand, has always been a favorite of mine, that is why before the theaters change programs tomorrow, I went to watch it today. Kate is really stunning in almost all scenes, especially with her office dresses.

They even look good on their fitness clothes! Now I'm wishing I could look like them too.

I was doing some blog hopping when I saw a post featuring Amy Poehler. Well, I have seen her in a couple of episodes of Saturday Night Live, and I really admired her talent especially in comedy. She has either appeared or lended her voice on various great and funny films like Scary Movie 2, Shrek the Third, and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.

Being a mom myself, I admire her the more for her desire to feature smart girls who, in their own little way, want to make a change in the world. She is now producing a digital series called Smart Girls at the Party, which focuses on interviews with girls and young women about their lives and their respective contributions for the world though their talents. What I liked about this series is that it has Barbie as their lead sponsor, which my daughter is so crazy about! I guess it has become a well known fact that shopping is one great activity that most women love to do. It somehow liberates the feeling of stress and depression within us. But wouldn't you feel guilty that all you've been shopping for are mostly female stuff?

Since I love shopping a lot (window shopping at that - lol!), I also take time to shop around for male things that might interest my hubby, like boots, for instance. Oh well, please allow me to rant about my being a Twilight addict. It has been a month since I have watched the movie, and at that I have watched it 6 times already (5 times in the theaters and once over the internet). But my being ga-ga over this flick did not just end at the movie house. Thanks to a generous person, he emailed me the 4 ebooks of the Twilight saga and in less than two weeks I was already engrossed.

Okay, since this post is a Music Monday, here's my part of the meme. In relation to the most favorite movie that I have at the moment, this feature song is from the movie's official soundtrack, and if you have watched the movie, it was played during the prom scene. I fell in love with this song and it brought me back to my high school days, although the song itself is not a love song (haha!). Shoes Blues

Wow, this is my 101st post! Well, it reminds me of those lovable dalmatians, haha!

Anyhow, going on with my post' title. . .

I impulsively bought two pairs of shoes last week. Both are peep toes and with heels, but they differ in color and condition. The first one was already pre-owned, and I got it from the ukay-ukay (flea market) for Php80.00 ($1.60). I loved the color - - a shiny navy blue - - and the heels are just so cute at an inch and a half. I thought it would be great for office and casual wear. I have the pleasure of sharing the pictures here.

The second one was bought at a local boutique here in our place. It originally costs Php400.00 ($8.10) but since they have it on sale, so I was able to take it home at Php150.00 ($3.00). Great deal indeed, huh! It was a cream colored Korean shoes, with two-inch heels. I liked it so much because it looks good on my feet and could be worn at any occasion. Here's a preview:

What made me blue with these purchases was the fact that they do not perfectly fit my foot size. Naturally, I am a size 8 and these shoes were only size 7! Whoa! That is the problem with impulsive buying . . .
